HOW MUCH DOES IT REALLY COST YOU TO SKI OR RIDE?

  • $40 for the tank of gas for the economy car you drive 1 - 1.5 hours to get to the ski area (Oh, you don't drive an economy car???).
  • Frazzled nerves & aching shoulders from having to lug your equipment from your remote parking lot to the shuttle to the lodge.
  • More frazzled nerves from navigating the crowd at the ticket counter and waiting in line to get your lift ticket.  Bah, Humbug!
  • A small fortune to buy full-price lift tickets (here are some recently posted prices from the websites at some of our favorite mountains:  ).
  • Avoiding all the hassles - PRICELESS!!

SSCAlbany's mission is to NEVER, NEVER, ABSOLUTELY NEVER PAY RETAIL TO SKI!  SSCA is able to  acquire significant group discounts on lift tickets and WE PASS THAT SAVINGS ON TO OUR MEMBERS!

We arrange the bus transportation (clean buses with restrooms!) with 2 easy pick-up points; get your lift tickets for you and distribute them to you at the bus; and then there's always the extras, like the Okemo pizza buses, Super Bowl Sunday Subway bus, homemade goodies that generous members bring to share, and more.
Want a group lesson or need to rent equipment?  We can take care of that for you, too.  We can also arrange learn to ski or ride lessons for first-timers.

    GREAT TRIPS - GREAT PRICES

Oh yeah, we don't just run ski buses on the weekends, we also put together some terrific trips that are INCREDIBLY PRICED!!!  In recent years the club has sponsored ski tours to: Lake Louise, Salt Lake City and Mt. Tremblant.  Closer to home we've been to Sugarbush, Smugglers Notch and Sugarloaf....so...you can see we do get around!!!
